Early nineteenth century, France. A pair of Brèche violette marble vases with chased ormuly mounts. Each vase of baluster form mounted with a square ormoulu plinth and with acanthus leaves , rocaille handles. Gilded mercury bronzes. High 50 x 25 cm. Bases : 15 x 15 cm.
